PRESS RELEASE

SUNDAY - MAY 15, 2011

EXPLOSIVE ALLIANCE TO CHANGE THE FACE OF WA PRO WRESTLING

Explosive Pro Wrestling (EPW) along with the Southern Hemisphere Wrestling Alliance (SHWA) have some of the most exciting news to have hit the Western Australian Pro Wrestling scene for a number of years. As of today, the Southern Hemisphere Wrestling Alliance will be moving out of the SHWA Forge and into Explosive Pro Wrestling’s training facility, The Dynamite Factory.

The Dynamite Factory has been going strong since 2002 producing some of the best talent in the country, including Bobby Marshall, Shane Haste and current EPW Champion/Head trainer, Davis Storm had this to say about the new alliance "We see it as an exciting step forward for the WA wrestling scene. Hopefully it can lead to a more inclusive atmosphere that will benefit fans, wrestlers and promoters alike. The Dynamite Factory has always been a hub for progression and learning in professional wrestling and we think this will ensure that the only direction for wrestling in this state is up and onwards."

The two companies will continue to remain separate entities, but will have a relationship similar
to that between World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Florida Championship Wrestling
(FCW), with the possibility of talent appearing on each other’s events. This is an unprecedented
move not only in WA, but wrestling throughout Australia with two companies coming together
for the betterment of the scene. SHWA’s General Manager Amanda Kirk had this to say
about the burgeoning alliance "These are exciting times; it gives a new life to the Perth Pro
Wrestling scene and sets an example for the nation. The possibilities are endless."

Explosive Pro Wrestling’s next event "Midday Mayhem 2" will be held at the Morley Sport and Recreation Centre on June 12, 2011. For more details on the show visit www.epwperth.com

Southern Hemisphere Wrestling Alliance’s next event "SHWA Invades Midland" will be held at the Swan Park Leisure Centre in Midvale on May 22, 2011, as well as being part of the Supanova Pop Culture Expo at Claremont Showgrounds over the weekend of June 25-26, 2011.
